Ive always wanted one however i'm too cheap to pay 90$ for a trunk lock with key.
Walking through the junkyard I found an alterntive, turns out some stanzas have the same a similer lock that says nissan instead of silvia.

Cost me 3$
With the key
On to the write up.
How hard? 1 out of 5
Supplies: stanza trunk lock, your coupes trunk lock
tools: Flathead preferably with small tip, channel locks preferably medium sized

cost 5$-xx$ (how much your local junkyard decides this is worth)
The locks are extremly easy to pull out.
Pop both trunks, look beside the latch intoo where the lock clyinder sits and you will see a tab {Clip B} (similer to brake line clips that go on struts)

Take your your channel locks and pull the tab torwards the direction of the outer edge of the trunk lid.
It should just pop off, a rusted on will take more convincing.
now just wiggle the coupe lock from behind pushing it outward from the trunk.
the stanza lock has a slot between it and the trunk lid,pop it out via a flathead screw driver,(easy way)
Or just do it the same way as the coupe its just more irratating with the stanza lock.
on too putting the lock intoo the trunk really easy, however there is one small difference.
The latches that pop the trunk itself are diffrent.
As seen in this image

Luckily these little latches are easily interchangable
Notice the mounting tabs are both the same however the stanzas lever points near straight up and wont allow your truck to lock ( i tried it)
This is where a little flat head comes in handy is to pop off clip a

Take your flat head and pop both clips off the coupe and stanza
.
(if you have a little flathead wedge it in the small slot against the lock cylinder and the clip and use the leverage to pop it off)
(with a large one like i used push from the bottom two sides of the clip to wiggle it off)
Either way its realy easy, and gets easier from here.
just swap out the two levers, there is no wrong way to put them on the mounting tabs are the same! Then pop on the clip a, wiggle the trunk lock back in and replace clip b. Enjoy your new trunk garnish/lock!

The only downside i have found is this little 1-2 mm gap.

The trunk lock is sturdy doesnt wiggle and doesnt leak water( make sure to get the rubber piece with your lock) its just the stanza has a deeper hole there by a small bit,I will be figuring out a materiel (that looks good for cheap) to make a spacer to fill in this gap and post up what i use and what tools i use to make it at a later date
