hey dangerous, can you do a write up for the stillen front fascia? me and others have the fascia pop out from the side ever once in a while. you said something about using a drumel and making the wholes bigger and if it doesnt work then replace the clips also.

which holes, how much bigger, where are the factory clips, what clips should we replace them with, where can we get these replacement clips, pics?

those are all the questions I could think of off the top of my head lol

Hussain.. the clips are the black brackets that the fascia directly pushes into. They are located on the each side and if you took off the fascia, you'd see they are bloted down directly over the fender lip. They are pretty cheap..$2.19 cheap from Infinitipartsusa.com Refer to part #7

Here's a diagram pic

Yeah Sam..I haven't forgot about you. A lot of things happening on my end that is preventing me on doing the write up but I'll get that out as soon as I get a chance

The fitment of the fascia is just a bit off...

I tried messing around with that black clip many many times. I shaved it, made the holes larger, but in the end I just took the thing out. I replaced it with a ziptie.

On that side the fascia is just being held in with a ziptie and the screw near the wheel well.

Doesn't look perfect but much better than that stupid corner popping up.

I love zip ties so I may just have to try that. does it help with the little gap under the headlight as well?

shouldnt be too hard to do. I'm trying to think of a couple different ways to go about putting fog lights in the fascia. one idea I had is if we can mount the fog lights farther back and then use bondo or JB Weld or something and put a plastic piece in front of the fog light (behind the fin on the fascia) and then spray the clear plastic with VHT night shade or something... AKA smoke the clear plastic part. that way it would look like there were no fog lights until you turn them on.

problem with that idea is the heat from the fog light might melt the plastic in front of it. as well as some mounting issues with the fog light so deep in... I might just do mine like dangerous though. I thought it would be hella obvious and look ugly with the fog lights like dangerous but I didnt even notice he had them on until you pointed it out so it doesnt look bad at all.

The problem of mounting fogs to the stillen fascia is that there really isn't any mounting points. The lip where the two pieces meet are not wide enough to mount anything. If you guys want to do this mod, all you need is a piece of angle iron that has the holes in it (holes and slots). I basically undid the bolt closest to the vent hole that held the two pieces of fascia together. Using a bigger washer to replace the existing washer and bolted down the angle iron at the angle that I needed for the fogs to be mounted and set back. The object was to have the fogs installed but not sticking out like a sore thumb from the fascia. So basically I played around with the angle and set back until I found the perfect distance. Then I tightened down the nut and VOILA! I know its not a write up but I tried to write this descriptively so you can picture what I've done! Hope that was clear as mud for ya's..So go fight win!
