sooooo, youre comparing your unit to pennies.......hmmmm, both 3/4 of an inch long-check, both looked upon with disgust-check, both get more play from inside your pants pocket than any other time......CHECK. yeah, that makes sense.

I do like how you put an accual holder there for it instead of just tossin a cup in the ashtray spot. I was going to do this mod a little while ago but I found the ultimate cup holder. And it's a 2 cup cupholder. Can't beat mine

Sleepy eye mod

1. pop the hood2. remove caps covering motor knobs next to head lights3. raise head lights w/ motor knob to desired height (Raise them equally or you won't be tyte)4. Optional - disconnect headlight motor so they do not get adjusted when you turn lights on5. Close hood, Vuala, you are JDM

Custom title please?

Can't you guys come up better idea than those?

Nissan didn't put a cup holder on the center console because YOU KEEP HITTING IT WITH THE ELBOW!This MIGHT work if you drive an auto-tragic. But I don't and my cup holder sits on the passenger seat.

Nice write up I thought about doing the same thing when I first got my car. But I tried driving with a small coffee stuffed in the ashtray (When I first got the car), how do you find it comfortable to shift with a container o' liquid jabbing you in your wrist/forearm?

My DIY cup holder took about 5 min and cost maybe $3.00 plus tax (excluding the drive to Advanced Auto Parts). I got a nice little single adjustable cupholder which came with velcrow on the bottom. It also fit perfectly on the little ledge in the center console. It really wasn't bad driving with the console open and a drink there. Not like you drive around 24/7 like that.

It was a nice cupholder until I some how me or my friend broke it the other night. I'm still trying to figure out how it broke and my center console filled up with coffee. But after a half bottle of SoCo and a few other intoxicating substances, late night details become very sketchy.
