anyone use this brand?.. In my eyes intakes are just tubes.. maybe the most expensive is the filter.. I cant see myself spending over $200 for a "name". What do you guys think of this?

Yeah I'm a big believer of that as well...

But when it comes to a metal tube, you think its worth the extra $200 to buy the name? The only thing is replacing the filter with a $50 K&N, after that I think its all about the sticker they put on the tube. Unless I'm wrong, someone please chime in.

I'm just curious if its Name you're paying for, or something else, like coated with something special, etc.

My only concern is fitment, but nobody has complained about that in reviews, so figured I'd see about it here too.

Intake design requires the proper amount of air flow. The filter is the biggest part of that equation and I wouldn't recommend a K&N filter. Their media is designed for better air flow and oiled but another important aspect is the filtration. R2C seems to be the best filtering systems we have seen.
