I think this is the most wrecked Pathy I have seen yet. At first I thought it was the one from Pathfinder vs Bear , but its not (post6114737.html?hilit=pathfinder%20vs%20bear#p6114737)

at least the tail lights look good......

which yard did you go to? I've always wanted to go parts diving... just never sure on where to go for it.... could do with some "newer" looking roof racks.

I went To Ralphs on Mitchell Island. For a while they had 2 pretty well stripped R50's there, now both are gone and in there place is this one(2004 Se). I actually checked for the roof racks and they're gone. Theres not much on there thats good and R50's are hard to find at yards.

This is the one time I wish I had a Civic - On the other end of the island theres a Jap car lot with quite literally fields of civics :chuckle:

That looks like a crazy accident! I wonder if the occupants even survived that crash.

I was wondering that myself because the drivers-side is basically all caved in, both front airbags deployed, and pretensioners set off. I haven't seen anything on the news about this though.

On an unrelated note
One thing I found strange though is that the B pillar on the passenger side was cut with a saw and not crushed with the jaws of life.
Do they use saws-alls now?

Circular saw with an abrasive blade, I think, not a reciprocating saw like a Sawzall.

Know the feeling. I enjoy going to junkyards, but if you're out there alone, it can get really creepy. Feels like you're walking through the aftermath of a bomb site. Also, some vehicles you see definitely look like someone may have died in it. Each one tells a story.
You're not allowed to take/drive your own vehicle through a yard, so you have to park and walk, with what you hope is all the right tools. In my case last month, the Pathfinder I was taking parts from was a good 15 minute walk from the entrance. I thought I took all the tools I needed, but I was wrong. Walk, walk, walk. Good thing it was a nice day.

I don't think its that bad.
The NHTSA Side Crash Test gave us 5 stars for front and rear, which doesn't make much sense to me because its called side. Nevertheless 5 stars!

I think we can all agree that we'd rather hit a moose or jungle creature with a Pathfinder rather than a Smart Car :bigthumb:

That would make more sense
