Well. a good tire shouldn't hydroplane so easily in a straight line. Some tires have better water-evacuating abilities than others. Not trying to be a smart ***, just giving some input, the dunlop sp5000 tires that were on my 240 when i first bought couldn't hold up to even slick pavement without making the backend tuck out, vs. the bridgestone tires i bought for it 2.5 yrs ago, that had better water channels.
