Rear driver side quarter panel including trunk and rear bumper damaged. Front end ran into chain-linked fence and acted as a net but seems to have slightly pushed in driver's side frame approx. 1 inch. There is a slight hood gap but hood, fenders, bumper still good. Passenger side is in perfect condition. Will post pictures a.s.a.p. Car is silver on black interior.

Now, I bought the car 2 months ago and currently has 150,000 miles on her. For the past few days I've been going bald deciding what to do with her. Would it be cheaper to part her out considering time to remove and ship or go to a salvage yard and purchase front frame rail and weld frames together. Remember rear needs to be repaired also. I know car will never drive same again but I don't even want to talk about what I went through to get this car. All feedback will be honored. Thanks. John

oh yeah, I'll get those pictures

If you need any parts e-mail me......everything goes!!!!

If you have the time, part it out. if its got a good front end that stuff should sell like gold.

Strip it down to NOTHING and then junk it.

I say part it out before you junk it, you can make some $$$ while you're at it. Besides, I could use a couple of parts off you if they're still intact

Yeah, I've never parted a car out but never the less it shouldn't be a problem. Any tips to parting out smoothly? I am located in Houston, TX

damaged- driver side fender, front door, quarter panel, trunk, rear bumper, and suspension. Passenger side is not damaged. Interior is flawless.

I'm in for the passenger side fog lamp if it survived and assuming someone can verify it will fit an 01.

Only if u had tan interior i would get driver and passenger seat a good triple digit $$$ but yes take all you need and if you have a place to store it store and junk dont keep a messed up car around its room for dirt trust i just got my 1999 Chevy astro out of my property today my House looks twice as good and it was fully parted out so part it and junk it or jus simply find a person who will buy as is as a parts car you spent about 6-7 grand you can get an easy 3 out of it you can squeese that 3 into 4-5 if your lucky with selling the parts but thats all on you... wish you the best!!! and good luck

Sell it or part it, but don't try to attempt to rebuild it. Sorry for the loss, but you'll probably be much better off if you buy another car. Things look easier to repair than what they really need. Don't spend all your time and money. You won't gain anything. You can still find another nice car to replace yours.

Good Luck!

Lots of nice Y33s out there with low miles begging for you to adopt them. Let this one go.

And the 1999 and later are a little more interesting.
