I wrecked my 240 last week and i just took it to the body shop and they estimated that to fix it so that the pop-up lights would wokr it would cost me just under 2k...... I payed 2k for the car....this is BS. So since i had plans to do a silvia conversion along with the sr20det i may as well do it now. The problem is im poor way to poor for front clip and to fix my car and im 16, my dads very helpfull but he wont pay what he payed for the car to fix it, so basically i need any info on pricing and Getting a silvia front end conversion kit w/o going to california ive called a mostly nissan junkyard and they had 4 240's. No silvias so basically help me out pleez.

you would be damn lucky to find an already swapped front end of a silvia in a junkyard. but it would still be in their computers as a 240sx.

if insurance isn't going to cover anything for you.. its going to be difficult to get what you want done for under 2k.

and most front clips are strippedthe fenders/bumper cover/hood are usually missing.finding one in good condition (with those parts) would be a good find.I'm not saying it is impossible.. but just not as common :)

I would email a few suppliers ( http://www.srswap.com http://www.unstable-hybrids.com .. etc)or wait for daunttless to reply with the save the day message for you :D

I need a mighty mouse avatar and a here I come to save the day soundclip eh Jubs? : )

It sounds like you're in a bit of trouble. : ( I would like to be able to rush in and save the day, and I would be able to if you had crashed one month from now. If you can stand the damage for a month, I'll have Silvia front end conversions, I am probably going to be bringing over 3-5 of them, but with demand I might bring a few more. They will be somewhere between 700-1000 dollars for everything, hood, bumper, lights and fenders. If you have an easy color, like white, I may be able to get you a matching Silvia front end, however that may not be 100% possible. If you could get a cheap paintjob, or deal with a slightly offcolor front end, that might be a cheap fix for ya. Let me know about the color of your car, and if you are interested and I'll see what I can do. : )

PS: Sorry about your car! : (

Front ends for 700-1000? Does that include the SR20det as well, or just the front clip body?

If it DOES include the engine, order one for me, cuz i'm sold.

Daunttless,

Was wondering if you can get s-15 front ends. I have a 96 240sx, I was thinking about doing the front end conversion, let me know if you can do anything. Thanks

Yes, the S13 => S15 bolt-on kit with your choice of front bumper will run about 3k. I think the S14 => S15 runs about 2k. I don't have prices finalized on them unfortunately.
