"It feels like we always had a problem with the car, it under steering in longer 2nd and 3rd gear corners. Its the same feeling again but everyone is having the same problem, that their car is understeering...So maybe I should just learn to live with it, and if its understeering just learn to drive a bit better"

Mikko, you f***ing badass.... I still hope you lose. Go Danny, go Petter.

I love the Solbergs...both of them. Henning looks like he is always having a great time.

He can blow out his strut tower through his hood and take out his windshield, and still have a smile on his face.

Henning is the f***ing s***. I love that guy. He has such passion for the sport, almost every race he is in he has so much fun you would think it was his first.

I remember one interview he was asked about team orders from Ford, he looks out of the corner of his eye and sees Malcolm so he says "No! They cannot tell ME what to do!" in his funny accent, then turns to him and they both start cracking up.

Every time he comes close I cheer for him to be on podium. He has gotten it before but I don't know if I saw... I just want to watch how happy he would be with that kind of finish.

Petter used to be the same way, but the rough patch in his career has really had an effect on his attitude. He does seem to be having a lot more fun these days though, even though I am sure he wishes he had a more stable/competitive ride. I think the Subaru team kind of fell apart internally there at the end.

Just in time to see Sebastien quit (and go to F1) and see Kimi go to WRC.

Btw, I'm pretty surprised at how many wrc fans are on this board and how little F1 fans there are.

Torry is a pretty big F1 fan. I don't NOT like it, I just don't really follow it for whatever reason.

hahaha, that may or MAY NOT happen lol. Would be epic though.

I am the same way with F1. Its good stuff, but I have never had the drive to follow it like I do rally.

Probably because (for the casual fan) this year was not very interesting. Two mid-range teams wound up fighting for the championship (which, with Red Bulls motor troubles recently pretty much hands it to Brawn) is not something for the non-committed fans.

Next year is shaping up to become quite earth shaking. Alonso going to Ferrari, Massa hopefully coming back (if not it'll be Alonso and Fisi just like at Renault), Kimi leaving F1 possibly, the replacement for McLaren of Kov to make them fit for Constructor Championships, Renault filler, Kubica's placement in F1, etc... Oh yes, next year is shaping up to being very exciting.

This is a sick picture.

Who was it who basicly landed pointing straight up on their rear bumper this season? Like a few more degrees and they would have flipped back and landed upside down?

That wasn't Kimi was it?

Petter looked VERY good on the last few stages.

Here's to seeing Petter back in true form.

Also a damn good show from the true winner of the rally, Daniel Sordo

Are they showing them in order? I take it not since that was only the second one?

Any idea if they plan to catch up/show them on race weekend? Whales in like 2 weeks... Been years since it came down to the last rally!

AFAIK its in order... with a "new" one every Sunday night. Norway was round 2 this year so... yeah.

That I don't know... it would be nice to watch the race in proper HD. And yes, this year is a serious nail biter... I didn't expect Mikko to be this good this quickly. I wonder how much he was holding back last year just because he was #2 to Gronholm in the Ford stable.

Last year was no holding back, he was fords #1 driver, Gronholm left in 07.

I don't think he was holding back even then though. His first little bit out as the lead driver wasn't THAT much better, he just REALLY had to step it up once he was thrust into the leading driver role. He did OK last year, but wasn't a serious threat, it looked like he was going to put up a fight, but Loeb still took it with maybe even 2-3 rallies to go.

I still think Loeb takes it this season. Sordo gave him the opportunity last rally, and Loeb has still been dominant this season... The only reason that he is in the position he is in is because of those two back to back wrecks mid season. He had won like the first 5 rallies before that, and most after... Mikko just stay consistent and close enough to make those mistakes REALLY hurt...Plus that sway bar infraction in Australia to keep him in far enough back that he couldn't take it last rally.

Just look up the statistics though, and in 2008 Loeb got first, Daniel got 3rd, and Mikko got 8th. Year before that Mikko got first, Loeb got 3rd and Daniel got 5th... So it looks like a toss up... But under pressure having to drive fast with no mistakes you gotta favor Loeb.

Last rally of the season this weekend.

Just finished watching day 2, and WOW.

Loeb had a bad start to the day and let out his anger over the next two stages...In car of angry Loeb trying to make a point is

HOLY CRAP

What an AWESOME display of driving!I don't know where you get your feed, but I had mine come in in 720p HD

I have NEVER seen driver's so on the edge though... Mikko was going BEYOND flat-out. Did you see his brakes? Glowing red!

And how about Sebastion Ogier rolling his C4 and then driving away!I wonder what lucky fan walked away with Mikko's hood... Timo ripped that s*** off and threw it with authority!

Can't wait til next season!

f*** that would make a cool souvenir.

What sucks is that the final gap between mikko and loeb was 1 minute.

And at the stage where mikko f***ed up his hood and had to stop he lost... 1 minute.

Some of that is sure due to Loeb slowing, but really Mikko made up the 25 seconds he lost the day before. He pushed it just a little too hard... With out the hood thing it would have been a VERY close finish. Really unfortunate, but he borderline lost it a few other times before that... He was just too desperate for it

Also...Henning crossed the finish with a cracked windshield. That guy LOVES breaking windshields.

I've got a site that has them up that night, but my internet sucks so bad, I don't really download much of anything.

I also enjoy watching them in HD.
