For anyone who's interested, WRC Rally Finland will be airing on the Speed Channel tomorrow evening at 9 EST.
This is definitely a classic in the World Rally Championship. Rally XS (kind of a pre-show) did a profile on Rally Finland, and we should be in for a treat.
The event is known for its fast gravel stages and lots of BIG jumps.
I'm predicting another win for Marcus Gronhölm (as long as the car holds up).

Gronholm grew up on those roads, of course he's going to win. I hope Makinen can catch a break.
If I didn't love rally so much I never would have watched it this year. Speed really butchered the coverage this season. They were trying to attract more viewers, especially from the NASCAR crowd. The thing they don't get is that rally and F1 are too sophisticated for a bunch of hillbillies. Too much technology and too much technical driving skill.

The Skoda Fabia made its debut in Rally Deutschland last week. As I recall, there were a few problems, which is to be expected.
As for Gronhölm, we'll see if his car holds up. I think Harri Rovanperra could be in the running too. Could be a really good rally for Peugeot.
