seems strange ... they list complete engine, then have to include that it has a block and head... ?

Your Swap Includes The Following:

* Complete Motor * Turbo * Block * Intake Manifold * Complete Head * Sensors * Exhaust Manifold * Fuel Rail * Injectors * Distributor * Throttle Body * Alternator * Starter * Power Steering Pump * ECU * Wiring Harness * 5spd RWD Transmission

yea this importer is about 45 minutes away from me. We went and picked up an sr for my friend, they were very shady. when we got the motor back to the house, I started to wire it up and started looking at it closer and it looked as though they had pieced together the motorset from a junkyard. You know how when you get something from the junkyard they write on it in pink or yellow, well this had it all over and in japanese...rad fine...but still very shady.

dude, thats a typo; I think they mean 166lb's of tq, not 1661... think about it. It would take about 1000 Cubic inches of N/A displacement or some serious forced induction action on some motor not much smaller than 1000CI to make that much TQ.

I wish I had a dime for every time a noob comes in here and says some dumb crap like this and means it... I was hoping someone wasn't really serious about thinking the CA had some unearthly mystical power for creating TQ.

It's not just here; there is a guy on my street with a stock '04 automatic civic who thinks he can beat my 260whp SR powered 240 in a drag.

It's beyond the point of being funny, right into sad. I feel bad for him because he keeps telling me that once he gets his intake we can race for $100. But he has several small children, a young wife, and he works hard as a mechanic but doesnt make much money.

I try to set him strait but he keeps telling me that his N/A bottom of the line 1.5L Civic is the fastest thing around, and it isn't even V-Tech.

I promise you these guys do exist, and they are everywhere.

Yes I know about torque. i have a DodgeSRT-4 (turbo 2.4L) that makes 330hp and 420lbs of TQ (in a little 4 banger) all to the front wheels so yes i do have a little knowledge on what torque is.

Take his money. A fool and his money are soon parted, consider yourself a tool of fate. When his wife agreed to those vows, the "or worse" would be referring to times like this.
