took my car to a local shop in fl to fix the oil feed line so they fix the line and i pay and leave drive a block the turbo WHISTLES LIKE CRAZY i come back i said wtf is going on this car wasent making this noise so now they said it was the turbo... i will post a video tomorrow this is a GT28RS turbo they said they not responsible bcuz the car was towed there could of been like that b4 they got it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0GEM_-NFmIITS DOING THE SAME THING THIS CAR IS DOING IDK IF THEY threw something in my tubro im f***ing pissed

Was it the turbo Oil feed line?

If it was then your turbo is most likely toasted cuz they didnt prime it. So when you started the car the turbo had no oil and raped itself anally

Thats my Hypo anyway.

yeah nali it was the oil feed line im sure thats what happened... so now i was thinking of getting this for now because im freaking broke.. lmk what you think and if i should get it

why did the line need to be replaced? the 1-2 seconds of no oil on startup wouldnt kill it especially a bb one. did you take your intake off and check for play, does it turn freely?

its just a downpipe........turbo and mani sold separatly.....looks ok for ebay stuff but should look into something name brand....just my opinion

I dont think it was a priming issue.... You were having it replaced for a reason, perhaps that reason ran her dry?

so when i replaced the gaskets off the manifold i made a mark on the turbo and on the manifold... comes out that the mark is not there and they changed my turbo he said he didnt start the car before so he cant replace it... f***ing ***holes...

thats prolly what they did once they put the line ran it dry because the turbo had like 3k miles on it was freaking new can ran beautiful before taking it to the shop..

yeah it turns freely also when i turn on the car and rev it up a little bit then i shut it off the turbo still makes noise with the car off for like 5 secs the same thing as the audi vid i posted same noise

unfortunately, your turbo is blown because of the lack of oil it didn't get. well it probably still makes boost it just whines because it has shaft play and is scraping against the compressor housing

used to live in Pompano / Margate / coral springs. Was it a certain Z shop off 441?

sounds like how my turbo did... but it wasnt blown it was because I wasn't using a restrictor.... now i am and no moar whine

its the fitting that goes from the turbo to the line only it restricts the amount of oil going in

yeah apparently when i took it to get the oil line screw fixed that goes to block they rethread it and put a bigger bolt

are you serious? i thought more oil would go through OMFG so i cant put a new turbo and prime it the right way now fuk =/

he took the banjo bolt out and checked if it was getting oil... and it was he took banjo bolt out a bit and oil came out...... =/ how do i check if the turbo is getting or got oil the turbo is out right now =/ lmk asap please need the car to run
