Damn guys and girls, i just picked up the head and all kind of other junk that came with it (block, pistons, Valve cover) and it's in PIECES!!! I think this is gonna be a long rebuild...I'm just using the head and putting it on my current block. Problem is the head has a broken cam(genious forgot to mention it to me when i asked) and he took the little metal "covers" off the valve covers on the topside, not sure if that's what it's called or not....I'll get pictures up this weekend when i get home and unload it.

Damn Rusted, sounds familiar. And DJ I did the same thing. If I understand exactly what we are talking about (the little aluminum cover on the top inside of the valve cover, then you will want to utilize that to keep oil from the cyl's. Not necessary, but a good idea. By the way, as much as I have worked on my resto, I would be happy to help.
