wow really weird alarm story

so this morning when i park at school, i turn off my car and get out and the alarm starts going off..i started pressing every button on my key and it would stop..opened and closed the door and kept on locking and unlocking and it still wouldnt stop..so i get in my car turn it on again and the alarm stops..then i turn it off one more time and once again right wen i open the door it starts going off again!! i had to start the car again with the door open, then turned it the car off and then closed the door..has this problem ever happened with anybody? im so afraid of getting out of my car now lol

Check your lights. I discovered one morning getting out of my car at work that I had accidentally turned my high beams on and when I went to get out, the alarm went off. Soon as I turned off the lights, the alarm stopped.
