This is the only one I found for our platform. Anyone willing to try?

Highly overpriced and will not generate very much improvements. Thicker front and rear sway bars are more effective for improving a car's handling. Strut tower braces are only good if a car already has sway bars.

The price was so ridiculous that I thought it was funny. I actually believe that strut tower braces make a considerable difference on large cars. This is directly from my experience modifying suspension on my FX35. Out of all the suspension pieces I replaced or added, Strut tower bar provided the biggest and noticeable difference to the vehicle's handling dynamics. That's on the FX (also a large cow of a car).

I really wish someone made a Strut tower bar for our car. I'd buy it in a heart beat as long as it is not $1,300

Why isn't GT-Spec making something for our platform? They have bars for all other Infinitis, even the FX platform!

I would like to suggest to all of you to hit up GT-Spec and request they R&Ding some M suspension products. I would kill for a strut tower brace!

Yikes!

Considering the money spent, you can get a much better improvement in ride/handling by new tires, new struts, or new shocks.

I put one on my Maxima and noticed an improvement in ride quality. Not huge, but definetly made a difference.

Someone did make a strut tower brace for the M after a ton of interest from M owners and then had to charge over a grand to recoupe the r/d and only one person bought it. Sad to say but eveything for the M will be expensive and everyone wants something made just don want to pay the big bucks for it.

So all this really is is a very hard somewhat thick bar that attaches to two points in the engine bay across the engine?

So all it would really take is measuring the distance to needs to go, where the mounting point are, and a machine to cut the metal and possibly weld the end pieces on if you choose to make it from more than 1 piece?
If thats the case then I might make one myself. I could probably do it for somewhere between $100-200. If it goes well then maybe I could sell them here for just a little bit over cost.

Yah, $1k for strut tower is just highway robbery. There really is no R&D involved. Just get something sturdy and light and hold two points together, add some color, and sell it.

Here is another option from Relentless Autosports
Strut Tower Brace for the Infiniti M35:

When I contact them sometime ago I was quoted $549.00 for a M series RA strut tower brace, fully powdercoated, including all necessary hardware and instructions.

That price actually looks more in line with their design, the R&D it would have cost, build quality, and materials.

So I guess this question begs asking. Will a strut tower brace from a G coupe/sedan or an fx 35/45 fit our M's? My cousin is a custom fabricator and works a lot with Kings Performance here in Orlando. If I found a baseline unit to use I know he could figure something out for the M.

Warning for those of you with the plenum spacer. Some of these bars won't clear the engine cover. Building a brace is more than welding a bar and two pieces of metal. It needs to be done in a way where both mount points can resist torsion and flex between the two towers.

Btw I found an old thread from 2010 referencing a shop which made one for the m35 but again it was $500! I don't think they made more than the prototype due to the cost. Anyone care to try a g35 with screw type ends?
