Ok so I was just under my car replaceing the Tension Rods in my suspension and when I went to get the old one off I found something out about my car that scared me half to death.... I almost lost the entire triangulated part of the sub frame!!

I'd been in an accident with a curb and a ditch on the drivers side back in 07. I knew the bolt that holds the sway bar to the frame had broken off in the accident and that it held the back side of the sub frame triangulation peice that the tension rod connects to. But I didn't know that the other bolt holding that piece on was LOOSE. I went to take off the tension rod and I couldn't get any torque on the bolt because I was just moving that whole part of the sub frame. Literally nothing was holding that nut from falling all the way off and the whole part of the subframe falling off the vehicle except blind f*** luck. I tightened it back up needless to say but damn.

Holy s*** I'm still dumbfounded by it. How does that s*** even happen?? Atleast I know what's been clunking on that side on bigger bumps for the past year or so now... christ.

The stud that comes from the frame that holds the sway bar link and the far end of that tension rod sub frame piece is completely gone so theirs no way to put a nut on that end and I have no clue how to fix that.

Anybody got any Ideas?? Please??

If it's the TC bracket, just toss a nismo power brace in there. It's a good excuse to buy one.
