I still dont have the engine in the car and I just cant stop buying performance parts =(.. Ive spent about $3500 - $4000 in the last 2 months alone. Just today I bought all new heater hoses, a new turbo elbow, and hks adjustable cam gears. Im either addicted to eBay or buying parts for this car. Either way it's costing too much money and I still need another $1000 to finish off this engine (without any severe mods).

Reading stuff like that makes me think twice about even wasting too much more money on my car

yeah, I try to do too much before actually buying a ca18. I keep wanting to buy suspension parts and do little exterior things. lol But I keep questioning if I even want to go through all of that swapping stuff....considering Im moving out on my own in august. I dont possibly see how I will be able to afford a swap while supporting myself with a part-time job. I sometimes just think of keeping this sohc (got 153 on all 4 cylinders) until it goes out or I get another car.
