Ok, so I live in Gainesville, Florida and the cops in this town are not really huge fans of modified cars. This morning on the way to class the road that I go down has a hill and at the bottom the speed limit goes from 45 to 35. This is not a big deal except I was having a rough morning and was in a hurry. There is a redlight on the road about 50 feet after the speed limit changes and as I was coasting down the hill the light turned yellow. I had plenty of time so I punched it and made the light. Whoop Whoop, cop pulling out of a business saw it and poped me. It turned out that the cop was a "friend of mine" actually his wife works for my mom and we know each other quite well. He let me off but the tickets that I was going to get were the following: 52 in a 35 while making an illegal lane change in an intersection while running a red light. Also either reckless or careless driving I dont remember which. That would have made my bad day worse but this just goes to show that not all cops are a-holes. Just most of them. Yall have a good day and don't speed!

I think are you being sarcastic? Maybe not.

Most cops I've ran into have been ok to me...

Cops are not the A-holes, we are.

We race on the streets. We disrupt the peace with our exhausts, we unstick lane reflectors on freeways, and our cars look gay.

Cops are always the good guys.

Always.

He would of been a ^$$hole to anyone he didn't know. If he didn't know you he might of taken you to jail. Almost the same thing happened to me (Turning right on red wide lane change and loud muffler) I fought it but still got charged with reckless driving. But in my case I dident do anything wrong (light was green, used my turn signals but my exhaust is loud) . I think the cop was a kid I beat up in jr high school. Damn carma!
