When Congress passed the law, it could not know it was creating this problem. Today we know. The answer is to repeal the RFS before it puts millions of vehicles and many motorists at risk.

This is what happens when lawyers try to be engineers.

Funny thing is, on my newer turbo charged BMW, anything up to 30% ethanol is OK, except for reduced energy content. The turbos like 10% ethanol for cooling.

Obviously, the older NA engines like the VH series will not be happy as they were not designed to run any of these fuels.
