WOW HIDS WAY TO GO!

i just installed my HIDs today. 8000k. they were lookin dope until i tried starting em up later at night. only ONE works now! is it possible to burn out the bulb that fast or did something disconnect? im so pissed!

do you have the "auto" headlight feature? if you do, dont have your headlights set on "auto" when starting up the car. just leave them on "off" when starting up your car and then turn them to "auto." also, a relay harness will solve this problem, and you can leave them on "auto" all the time. what happens when you leave them on "auto" is that the headlights arent getting enough power through the stock headlight wiring when the car starts up, so only 1 or none of the bulbs will fire up. getting a relay harness will draw power directly from the battery and solve this problem.

relay harness? i have the same kit as u. the super slim xentec HIDs. doesnt that come with a harness?? or am i thinkin ballast? where do i get a harness and how do i install it?

type HID relay harness into ebay and youll see what im talking about.

i dont have this problem and mine is on auto all the time, so do i have to think about this?

^Yea... and you should also consider the relay kit incase one of your ballasts frys. The wiring kit will take all the damage and leave your OEM harness untouched.
