I've been noticing as of late that people that have the car they want seem to draw a lot of parallels. I like my 240 because its not all about raw power (I'm not very big), its about finesse and handling (I'm in aikido, very nimble). Its a good looking car (and of course I'm a good looking guy), and chicks seem to like it (draw your own conclusion, hehe.)

Other people with Stangs, vettes and trucks seem to fit those profiles, too. Has anyone else noticed this? Also kind of like when a pet looks like its owner. Ever seen that? Creepy $hit.

Nick.

let's see my silvia has no interior, just a dashboard. 16 guages to monitor everything four point belts on suede skyline seats. No AC, no power steering, no stereo, full rollcage, big airhorns and needs a wash something feirce.

It fits, I'm dirty, functional, without ammenities and ready to roll:D

16 gauges??? I didn't even know they had gauges to monitor 16 different things, let alone needing all of them.

1 5" Auto meter Phantom shiftlite Tach

(Trust, racked across the dash and on my steering column, some black some white, my guages are fully integrated:))

2 Boost3 Air/Fuel4 Exhuast Temp5 Fuel Pressure6 Oil Pressure7 Oil Temp8 Water Temp

(Cyberdyne digital, not yet installed but will run across the dash in holes drilled into it under the others)

9 #1 a/f10 #2 a/f11 #3 a/f12 #4 a/f13 #5 a/f14 #6 a/f

15 Apex multichecker(set to monitor injector duty mounted where a radio would be)

16 Horn pressure(mounted in the change bin behind the shifter. I have semi truck air horns, very important on a race car):D

Talk about information overload, F15 pilots can't watch all these and drive either.

I drive a Ford Contour, does that mean I molded to the contour of the land? Or that I drive a really slow car?

high life, you mean rollin quarters for gas baby!as far as my daily driver I was rolling around in the GTS4 until I kinda sorta well (stares at feet like 5 year old) blew the turbo up. Until I can get the RB25 turbo on it in place of the RB20 unit I'm sporting the wife's 180SX with a measly six guages. I got the HaciRoku sold though!:fruit (does the money dance)When the Skyline is sold I will turn to on Damien. I was going to put a L28 in it but I have a mint RB25DE, SDS fuel computer and T300S turbo that will get me on the road quicker so it's looking like RB for the moment.

Calm down, man. Its just a car/s. Don't let your life be ruled by materiality. At that point, you don't own your stuff, it owns you. I know its a cliche nowadays, but its still very true. Keep it real and just have fun.

"Fun" is having what scientist has and working on what scientist works on and driving what scientist drives. I'd like to have madscientist's brand of fun.

When Mad says skyline, he means neon and when he says 180sx, he means cavalier.

Well if I did have either of those cars you can bet I would do something freaky with them. I was actually looking for one of those turbo Pontiac Sunbirds when I was 17. I needed the computer and the turbo so I could boost my Opel GT!:D
