WOW 3.3 Fall of Litch King

So the new content patch dropped yesterday. I ran the first of the 3 new 5-mans, it was purdy sweet. Interesting fights, lots of reflect abilities, makes it easy for your DPS to waste themselves haha, provides for many luls when running it first time.

lucky no wipes, ran right through the first 5-man (only 2 bosses) in about 20mins.

Anyone else amazed that you can get 251ilvl weaps from these 5mans now? So ridiculous...

Anyone spend last night jumping through the portal repeatedly trying to get an instance ID?

I don't have an 80 yet, my lock is at 70 and DK at 78. It was ridiculous last night, though. The lag was absolutely insane. Overall, the new content seems pretty good. I like the new map feature for quest tracking. It was annoying having to go to thottbot.com everytime I needed help with a quest. A lot of people on my realm were getting instance errors when trying to get into ICC, FoS, and PoS (i think?). It's all resolved now, but should be hitting 80 this weekend

and if your looking to pvp, i would suggest sticking with the lock. DK's are powerful, but only until everyone else's gear catches up. they dont scale as well as locks do.

lately i've been getting gibbed like crazy by locks in arena... suckers set you up to take 12k+ right up the pooper in a global cooldown(~1 second), ish is silly.

i do like all the blues on ur DK too =) u not doin too bad at all

Haha, not DS'd on the DK yet, just the lock. for PvE i got afflic, PvP is destro - kill people super fast lol

yeah, i agree with you on the pvp. its just fun with that class lol.

haha, i was doing some bg's few days ago with the dk, made me realize how awesome locks are. if they get ganged up, they have fear AND howling terror, just enough time to get away from everyone. plus i have a really good rotation soo

disc, specifically aimed towards mage/priest 2s comp, with smite glyph for uber nasty shatter combos to blow kids up.

and holy for my guild, our dr00ds are bad, so i usually have to raid heal

my main was a rogue for about 5 years... i rolled this priest about 4 months ago. ill have to log out in my pvp set later, its way more impressive than my pve set.

The mage and I rolled face in arenas in 2s this weekend. Hit 1500, thats not spectacular, however we beat 6 different teams in full relentless (the top pvp set) to get there.

i finally hit 80, started doing heroics...at 7am this morning

earned about 200 emblem of triumphs and got some great gear along the way.

possibly a voa or icc run tomorrow

My highest is a 70-something DK in those horrible-awful quest reward blues from the mid-70s. Where'd all my crit go!? I haven't played wow in so long I've missed 2 or 3 major patches, though.

Anyone else use hacks? I reinstalled WoW and downloaded some last night, they work pretty cool but I still have no interest in the game anymore.

They really only help with travel, I can see ways to use them in PVP but that's a good way to get caught.

Blizz needs to stop making WoW all about end game s***.

no, i play it for the legit competition in pvp and to have fun with friends who have moved away etc.

hax would kind of ... make the game useless. i actually love how its all aimed around end game, they have made leveling insanely easier, its much easier for blizzards customers to experience the game from many different characters angles now.

Yeah, cheating in most games, particularly RPGs, ruins them for me. I completely ruined Oblivion by cheating...now there's nothing new to do.

They're pretty useless in WoW. You have to spend so much time trying to make sure no one sees you, it ruins the whole point. They're also buggy as hell.

Maybe if you're on a small server then it'd be easier to use... but the whole point of WoW is playing with other people. Whether it be PvE or PvP, you're still playing the game to play with other people.

Sorry, I'm stuck on this cheating thing for some reason today. This is my second post about cheating lmao. How about that 3.3 patch? Is the Litch King dead yet?

nice, ya, ulduar is good for the trinkets etc, blizz kind of fails at keeping some of the best gear in the new instances. (best healing trinket in the game comes from a the 2nd hardest dungeon now, 2nd best trinket comes from the 3rd hardest dungeon, le sigh).

picked me up a new staff last night, put my mana regen thru the roof and bumped my GS up to 5270ish.

They're releasing wings slowly. The Litch King's wing is not on live servers yet, though the achievements are listed. As of right now the first 3 wings are open. The Plaugeworks is a lot of fun. I have yet to down Putri on 25man, mostly because I refuse to live for the game to get into a hardcore raiding guild.

I reinstalled WoW today (hadn't reinstalled it since my fresh Winblows reinstall a few months ago). I still have no wow time and I'm not sure when I'll get it, but at least I'm all patched up in case I decide I really want to play again.

Stupid subscriptions. I like WoW and Star Trek Online, but I don't really feel like paying the monthly fee for either of them anymore.

I recently quit because my mom thought I should get a 2nd (sometimes 3rd if I have a client who needs a site built) job. The only person in town hiring is some fish market. I am not spending my day cutting fish and selling them.

I'll probably be back by the end of this semester, though.

rogue is up to 5kGS, priest is chillin around 5400 like a boss

i only log on for guild raids now though since i have established all the gear sets i want.

I joined a random 25 pug one week and it turned out to be decent. We made it a weekly raid out of it, then pulled the 10 best for a ten man. I'm pissed cause my RL friend who was one of our best DPS transferred to the ally side for BS. I joined one of the better guilds on the server, but the guild leader ( who has never rolled a priest) and I had differing opinions on how I should heal. He told me "You will do as I say w/o question." I rofl'd. I told him I'm not an automaton and if he wanted someone to copy Aliene and not think for themselves to find another healer. I'm not sacrificing my free will to a 17 yr old kid for some loot in a video game. Lol, then he was actually SURPRISED I left the guild.

lulz wow drama, hate that, i'm a lucky one, i have a bunch of guys i've been gaming with for about 4 years now (some RL friends, others have become RL friends through meets/etc, we actually all went to our guild leaders bachelor party hahaha) its a 10man guild, and we all just play for the lulz and have a good time.

although, i do get frustrated at how bad some of them are at times alas, as i've experienced in the past, when you start excluding people (none of us are kids) from raids because they are bad, the game gets way too cerial.

needless to say, we are basically stuck on rotface because of a few baddies. we've killed him once in 10man, but deng, if this ONE guy would just not show up, we could down him again

i also just switch to my rogue as my main raiding character, he was my main for 5 years, i leveled and geared my priest in like 5 months lol Rogue dps is just way too OP to not play it haha
