Are the old starting zones dead or is it just me? Are there new zones that people go to or something? Hahah I am so out of the loop.

I dunno about other realms, but most people come to the human starting zone, just because it's closer to SW/IF. New players have no idea and stay in their respective zone.

I pretty much consider myself new again hah. I played from like 2005-2006, back then I had a 60 nelf rogue, but I don't remember my account name or anything from then unfortunately. Never was a hardcore raider or anything but like I said before if it doesn't take a year to reach 60 again I wouldn't mind playing.

hah I was on bloodhoof because I wanted to be on a populated server, and Undermine doesnt say anything except for new players on the server select. Back when i played in 2005 I played on Bleeding Hollow

Also I looked up my old rogue, and he is definitely still in the records but they can't show his stuff because he hasnt been logged in for an extended period of time. I wonder if I called blizzard I could somehow reconnect with my account name or something.

I'm pretty sure you can. Friend of mine on undermine deleted her hunter a long time ago, and blizz was able to get the toon back, except for some gear and items.

The claymore is an awesome weapon, but if you're hurting for ArP and Expertise, you should try to get the axe from Saurfang 10 (currently dual wielding both). Once we take down Fester on 25 tonight, I'll have my shadow's edge and will probably retire the claymore (I need expertise/arp more than I need crit/hit)

Yeah, definitely man. I'm just not ready to tank all of ICC yet. I had to OT it on Saturday because no other tanks were on, except for the other raid leader. I was doing well, the healers just had a bit of a hard time healing me because I was 31K unbuffed, sooo yeah haha. 32.2K unbuffed now, getting up there!

mitigation has more to do with survivability than health. So long as your parry and armour rating are in good shape, you should be fine with a slightly sub-bar health pool. It means a lot more to me that a tank knows the fights than is totally geared up. If we had a tank who knew Saurfang and was slightly undergeared, I'd take him in a heartbeat than one that was well geared and didn't know the tank mechanics of that fight.

I've tanked lower spire with around 37k unbuffed health and done fine. Plaguewerks and up, I felt I would be pushing our healing on 10 man, but my armour rating is low and most gear in the ToC-ICC level leaned towards dodge rating (hence the dodge debuff), so my dodge rating is pretty poor (around 3-5%). Thankfully my block and parry is still in the mid to high 20s.

Looking at your armory page, you look pretty good off. However, I would consider getting some tanking trinkets and upgrading the cloak to a frost badge cloak. After that, it's a matter of replacing the lvl 200 items you have with some more up to date items. Thankfully, a lot of lower spire bosses drop 251 tanking items. They're usually not as good as your set pieces, but they'll help your survivability while you get badges to buy your set items.

Yeah, I gotta agree. I realize now that fight has more to do with staying alive than anything else, but having higher stamina definitely helps too.

I got my raid lead position back as they were looking for someone to lead on weekends. Doing ToC 10 tomorrow, should be fun. I don't really have to worry about wiping, I know my people will do well. Hoping for some good upgrades

and i got re-activated for the air force(jsut staying in the country, but still 2hours from my wife and daughter) and the hotels inernet connetion is so slow my latency was 13000... looks like no WOW for me

Ya man, i've got 2 projects to do, a huge homework, and other than that theres studying and what not. Also i'm going away this weekend and next weekend is my birthday so theres really no point to me trying to play anytime soon haha. I'm so ready for this hellish semester to be over.
