i started playing again as of 2 days ago. GM told me they went through 3 different raid leaders for my team after i left. i was too awesome. cant raid at night because i have night classes, so it's all during the day.

just kicked malygos' a** couple hours ago.

just need kel'thuzad and saranthos or w/e in Ony so i can get the Champion title

I still have a crappy cloak and 2 crappy trinkets. My GS isn't high enough to let me in ICC :P

Plus, I can only raid during weekends and weekdays during the day. All my class are at night

5755GS on my rogue, i pull 5-6kdps on the lvl80 boss test dummies in org completely unbuffed. (he is a boss)

Just hit 1800 rating on my 3s team this weekend and picked up some wrathful weapons, wewt. made such a difference, its awesome. We run Rog/Lock/Druid, its pretty fun.

5500GS on my priest, he can pug ICC easily, thats all that counts.

damn! my gs is only at 4431, and i still have a crappy cloak and trinkets.

did an icc rep run for the first time, and it was fun. i was dps in tank gear and frost and didnt die but once and some of the guys with 5300 gs died 6 times...AND they were ranged.

dual spec'd on the dk yesterday, went unholy, dps went through the roof. just need to pick up tharassian's set or w/e i can find

My warrior is only at 5350 GS, but I'm using an ilvl 200 and 219 trink (the trink from Deathwhisper 10 and H FoS refuse to drop, I've killed the Devourer 22 times with no trink). Not sure if I want the trink from Saurfang 25. It's a good trink and upgrade from Death's Verdict, but the randomness of the buff is kinda iffy.

I'm currently saving up for a Shadow's Edge. I'm up to 17 Primordial Saronites. 8 more and the bloods from Fester and Rot and I'll be good to go.

Just got confirmation that the ICC +5% damage/healing/health buff went live with the rolling restarts this morning.

What other ways are there to get Pri. Saronite? I don't wanna spend my Frost emblems as I need to save them for gear, but I'm liking that axe. A lot.

They have a % chance to drop from ICC bosses like Runed and Crusader Orbs. Or you can bite the bullet like I'm doing and buy them off the AH. I've bought maybe 3 or 4 with frost badges from my hunter alt, Marenta bought around 3 for me, and I've spent gold on the rest. My server, they can go from around 1500G to 1700G. However, there has been a huge prediction in price hiking after 3.3.3 goes live. One of the reasons I'm rushing to get all 25 I need before 3.3.3 rolls out.

Damn, only 1500-1700?

In my realm the minimum goes for 2K+ in the AH, though people occasionally lower the price in Trade. Bleh, I need to start doing more ICC crap. I really wanna do the raid, preferably 25 man, so nobody really checks my gear

It's going to scale up to 30% before Cat. No word on when. 3.3.3 is predownloading now, and its suspected to go to 10% when it goes live.

Also, Bliz has revealed "Ruby Sanctum" for patch 3.3.5. No word on what drops other than "ICC level gear."

That happens to me all the time. I have to re-learn everything. I haven't touched my Hunter in years...I wouldn't know WTF to do if I tried to play that char again.

I've been gearing up my Druid on triumph and farming Primordial Saronite with him and my DK to get my tailored i264 boots for my Priest. I have them now so I'm probably going to invest the badges in gear.

I'm looking forward to 3.3.3 and the change to my 4 piece t10. I get what Bliz was trying to do with making disc stronger tank healers, 20% just wasn't enough to depend on. We're getting buffs to bubbles now

I keep hearing about "all these changes" but most of them happened before i started playing lol.

I just got him to 80 at the end of Jan, and my Druid to 80 in Feb. I spent my gold gearing my druid, then maxing his profs. I maxed Gjallar's BS last week and haven't had the gold / drops to get any of the recipes. Everyone wants maxed skill or they roll to sell. I won a piece of Primordial Saronite in ICC25 last week and I just sold it for 1400. I'm probably going to spend it on Gjallar, since my druid has all I can reasonably afford.

I should note I was using this guy to farm primordial saronite for my main / the gold to max profs so he is suffering in gear for it. I'm going to use his frost badges for gear now, but it's gonna take time.

Ahh, I see.

I'd like to do ICC, but nobody in the realm will let me in 'til my GS is at 5K minimum. I've been saving up Frost emblems (up to 49 now) and should have a new gear piece soon that will bump me up to at least 4850.

Did the saronite drop from boss or trash?

Im so tired of all the GS bull like seriously people just judge on that and it kills me. I play an arcane mage and can easily out dps someone with 5k gs and I'm at 4887. I have not even gotten to step foot into ICC as a raid just as the heroic versions. Haha I say Blizzard should take away gearscore! But then again thats just my opinion haha

imo, only people who complain about GS are the ones who have a low one LOL

gearscore is a great way to gauge someones experience, if you've run 25m 20 times, you should have a few 264 pieces and be damn familiar with the fights from going so many times. this makes you more valuable of a player to the raid due to your experience, which is loosely quantified by your gearscore.

no offense, but i would never invite someone with less than a 5200GS to an ICC25, simply because if you are that low, you may have done a few 10mans, but you dont know the fights in and out. i want pros who can run through the first wing in 2 hours, i dont feel like carrying kids in 10m gear.

not to mention, my 5777GS rogue pulls 8-11kDPS single target in 25mans, i've been in 25mans where i'm doing 30% of the raids damage... that frustrates the hell out of me. pull your weight, or go back a tier and grind through 10mans more, just like everyone else did to get to 5600-6000GS.

thing is, though, my dps is higher than half the idiots in ICC25 who have GS of 5200+

i go melee dps and i come out in the top 3 everytime we do rep runs. we have warlocks who are dead last on recount dps meter, but they get into ICC25 just fine.

i know all the ICC fights, i've watched them on tankspot, and i always tell the damn raid leads that my dps kicks a**, but they still say "no GS, no raid."

im also considering changing realms. Undermine is full of dumbs***s, save for the few in my guild.

The saronite drops off bosses in 25m.

Its easy as a healer or a tank to get into ICC, as there are less of us. DPS have to compete hard to get in. I my DK is the classic example, no one wants me cause of my gs, but they would take my priest w/ armorying me. But it is easy enough to get 5k GS. Run heroics for tier9 / trinkets / rings etc from the Triumph store and tier vendors. Grind up honor for a PvP cloak. The rest can be had from either the conquest store, Ulduar, ToC, Ony. All of which you should be able to get into with your gear score.
