Good answer but you can't do it because the proposed amount was only $1,000, which is not enough even for a down payment on a 2012 GT-R.Loki wrote:Why not both? Buy a 2012 Nissan GTR and tour racetracks around the US!

To me, $1000 is not enough to visit the places I want to see (or do the things I want to do) in the style that I'd want to do them, so I'd go with the appliance.
Doing something fun doesnt have to cost a million dollars. How bout something like skydiving or seep sea diving like she said, or driving around a track a few times in an exotic car. Its worth it... parts can wait and will still be there in the majority of cases.Bubba1 wrote: To me, $1000 is not enough to visit the places I want to see (or do the things I want to do) in the style that I'd want to do them, so I'd go with the appliance.

It really is a question of perspective. We differ. Sky diving does not interest me. I wouldn't mind deep sea diving but not off the NJ Shore which is the closest big body of water to me, where visibility is terrible and the water is polluted. I would only consider doing it in a tropical location where you can actually see in the water. But to do a trip like that would cost considerably more than $1,000. As far as driving exotics around race tracks...uh been there/done that many times.alms24sebring wrote: Doing something fun doesnt have to cost a million dollars.
