I have a water temp gauge

the sensor is 1/8 BSPT, however the stock temp sensor on sr20det is not that size.

I have blue samco hoses and they were kind of expensive and I'd hate to cut it

so my options are as following:

cut radiator hose (ouch!) and install an adapterorget blitz radiator hose and sell the old ones (anyone want to buy it?)orfind the right fitting for stock sr20det water temp sensor... it's not 1/8 BSPT for sure

Pull the sensor and go to Home Depot. Some random old guy in aisle 4 could probably tell you the size with his eyes closed.

Ace hardware or True value will be a better idea. I can always find fittings I need etc there.

Umm you're not planning on trying to remove the coolant temp sensor and replace it with the sensor for the gauge are you? The car needs the CTS to run properly.

Don't cut your coolant hoses or buy the blitz one. Put the sensor right ion the block.
