You are joking right? The BMW X3 is more than double the Rogue's price. It's in a different class.cdmuile wrote:X3..........Couldn't be happier.
I think he means he agrees with two other previous answers.philipa_240sx wrote:

I wonder if by the time you decide to get electric car - Nissan may produce Rogue Hybrid. At least a lot of people seen it in FSB of the Rogue but nobody have any info about it yet.tellurian wrote:I'm hoping my next vehicle will be electric, but if that isn't possible I may get a Rogue.
The SE-R is all about high RPM power. It only has 5ft-lb more torque and peaks at much higher revs. Same for HP, the SE-R makes 200hp but it's right up close to redline, 6,600rpm. IMHO it would not be fun to drive around town at +5000rpm so you can get that extra 30hp.ncc1701 wrote:The only thing I wish it had is a little bit more zippier engine. 170hp is ok, but I think a 200hp 4 cylinder would be awesome. The Sentra SE-R SpecV has 200hp. I'd love to have that in the rogue.
Nissan has an e4WD system on the Japanese Market March and Cube that uses electric motors for the rear wheels. This could suit hybrid setup quite well. Instead of using a generator coupled to the gas motor, a hybrid arrangement could be used. Sigh, why does Japan get all the cool technology?cdmuile wrote:let's have the engineers and bean counters at Nissan can come up with a hybrid giving 280 hp and ungodly torque for our Rogues. The technology is there!

At first, I didnot understand why Nissan didnot propose the 2.0l engine for north america as they did for Europe and Japan. Now, I start to understand , there is a trend here.cdmuile wrote:Yep the sr20vet would be a hoot, but rather, let's have the engineers and bean counters at Nissan can come up with a hybrid giving 280 hp and ungodly torque for our Rogues.
Like for me I would like to see less RPM when I'm going to the highway and 4 people sitting in the car. That's why it feels to me kinda working hard when the car is loaded and you trying to get 65 mph. That's why my next car most likely will be v6. Not necessary murano but v6 for sure.Pescakl1 wrote:Just a question: Why do you need all this power for? To drive at 65 mph on the highway? To beat your neighbour to be the first at the next red light?
Exactly what I would have said. I want more horses not because I want to go fast, but because going up hills or getting on the freeway with a load, the car has to work a lot harder. A little more power at a lower end would make it feel like a stronger car.Leo2005 wrote:Like for me I would like to see less RPM when I'm going to the highway and 4 people sitting in the car.
