Hey guys, I came across this set of G37 chrome 19" wheels from a 2009 coupe. This guy only wants $250 obo for them!!! Thing is:

Is this still worth the money? Can they be repaired? If not I'm sure I can sell the other three on eBay for around two hundred a piece.

What do y'all think?

Dont do it man. Structural integrity of the rim itself has been jeopardized. Not worth the money to fix it and if you do its gonna be weak.

^That, but its hard to tell just how bad it is.

Regardless I do think its worth the buy and flip for the other 3. Wait, this sounds familiar. Something about flipping Rays for ban?

Hahah dj that's exactly what I thought of this morning when I saw this ad!! I agree even if they can't be repaired surely someone will buy the whole set or I can part out for profit.

Or even buy them, get rid of the bad rim, buy a single new rim, powdercoat, and ur still under a 1000, which you can maybe find for those wheels if ur lucky!

Like posted above, I wouldn't do it. You'll run into wheel balance issues down the line even with a decent repair and you'll get terrible vibration to the chassis, translating to terrible ride quality. Don't do it.

hmmm okay well thanks for the advice. I wasn't planning on riding these anytime soon because I don't have the money for new rubber yet but I am still considering parting these out on ebay and making a little profit.

I wouldn't buy them. You really think you're gonna be able to sell only 3 wheels on ebay? You don't think the previous owner already thought of that?

Well have you ever looked at these wheels on ebay? Theyre always for sale individually for some reason, maybe because theyre staggered? Idk but I appreciate your opinion (I didn't ask just to argue my side lol).

Sorry, I'm just paranoid lol. That's what goes in my head when I see used wheels for sale.

If you can sit on the wheels for a while its worth it. Think about how many people rash up and destroy wheels on leases. My mother has ruined 3 wheels in the past few years, then she has to shell out $400-$500 dealer prices when she turns in.

If you need to "flip" them immediately and get the cash out then I wouldnt do it.
