By the time they formed a committee to study ways to decrease emissions and a committee to improve hay mileage, I think the horse would look something like a Octopus.
Instead, Honda is about to release a Hydrogen vehicle called the FCX. It will only be available in the Los Angeles area, and then at $600 a month. You won’t be able to keep it at lease end, but, on the good side, you’ll never have to visit a gas station again.Oh, the $600 includes all maintenance and service for the life of the lease. This is the direction we are all heading in (IMO). Operating costs are expected to be about 1/3 less than what it costs to run a gasoline car. And you can drive solo in the party lanes.
Now, if the government really wants alternate fueled vehicles, and if having those vehicles becomes economically feasible when fuel prices are highest, what do you think the chances of the government ever doing anything about gas prices?
