except for the fact that they are NOT the same

S14 SE rear hubs bolt on to s13 rear spindles and so do NA 300zx rear hubs (same as s14 rear hubs). Im not sure if the TT zx rear hubs work or not.

but the shock mounts are difforent, 300zx rear spindles are fork type shock mount, and the 240's is not, and it would require very expensive custom shocks. Other then that, yes they are bolt on. Anyways, swapping the whole rear end is about 20x's more complicated then just switching the hubs and re-drilling the stock rotors for 5 lug.

Dude, *REAR* 300zx suspention, you're talking about the front suspension.

"The 240SX uses a post-style lower shock mount (Left), while the 300ZX twin-turbo, from which we stole our rear uprights, uses a fork style lower mount (right). If these lower mounts are welded to your rear shocks, you'll need to buy new rear shocks to switch to the Z upright."



If you use the 300zx rear sub-frame, you have to get conversion shocks/coilovers.

it would be quite a hassle and impractical if i do go with the z32 rear spindle, however, swapping the hubs would be sufficent for my purpose.

i do agree with J-Spec Tuner, i would need a fork style struts if the z32's spindle were use.

ESSENTIALLY THEY ARE THE SAME BECAUSE THE ZX USES A BUSHING TO SUPPLIMENT THE LOWER SHOCK MOUNTING. WHATEVER BELIEVE ME OR NOT THEY ARE THE SAME PART NUMBERS JUST THE 300ZX SHOCKS USE A BUSHING. DO WHAT YOU WANT.

i give up, if you dont belive the pictures im showing you then its pointless for me to continue to argue. 300zx and 240sx shocks have difforent mounts on both ends of the shock.

I DO BELIEVE YOU, I HAVE JUST SEEN THE SUBFRAME PHYSICALLY BOLTED IN AND HOOKED UP TO A S13. AND I DON'T REMEBER HOW THEY GOT IT TO FIT BUT IT WASN'T CUSTOM COILOVERS.

OHH WELL THERE YOU GOT A MORE SOLID ANSWER. AND NISMO USES THE SAME SPINDLE NUMBER SO I'M SURE THE HUBS SHOULD BOLT UP.
