Yes that amp will be fine. You have to understand that because an amp has an RMS rating it doesn't mean that it's always putting out that much power. It's just the amount of power that it can put out over an extended period of time without causing internal damage or clipping.
You can change the power output in three ways. The first use is the volume knob on the HU. THe second option is the Gain. The third option is the actual source material.
The third requrires a bit of explanation. When you burn a CD, with nero atleast, you have the option of altering the tracks. One of those options is changing the overall volume. You can increase/decrease it by 100dB. Obviously you should never go above 10dB either way. But anyways, if you raise the level 3dB your amplifier will be required to put out two times the power at every volume level relative to the original recording. The opposite is true for a 3dB decrease(half power)
So, any amp can be safely used with any speaker as long as it is setup properly
