Im getting a 2011 altima coupe 2011 and will be swapping out the 17" standard wheels with 19" rims and low profile tires (30mm-40mm). Will I have to adjust the odometer?

The dealership told me most likely I will not have to alter the suspension, so will the odometer be fine?

Thanks

nope, cant be done, all you have to do is make sure the outside diameter of the tire is the same as factory or real close.

You CAN have the odo adjusted... you DONT NEED TO

The entire diameter of the wheel/tire combo should be very close to the stock combo, it may throw off rhe speedo 4% in either direction...

Check the tires and rims section... I have 19s with 245/40/19s on them, and ive had 245/35/19s on them... keep it as close to spec as possible... 245 40 19 is the correct tire for a 19x8.5 wheel

So what do you think about this combo then: Its 235/35R19, so that way its not to thick and not to thin, i think. and the 235mm keeps it closer to factory spec which is 215, or maby im wrong all about my methodology

245/35/19 is the size your gonna want. And be careful with cheap tires like that. I've heard stories of people with cheap ones that have just skidded into things when trying to make a turn. Research the tires a little on Google for reviews.

WAit but whats wrong with 215mm tires? Because my rims are 19x8.5, so 215mm tires = 8.5 inches, so 245's would be to wide right?

Thanks

One of the most important things to learn is how to PROPERLY size tires. I can almost do it in my head.

90% of people have no clue what the numbers on a tire mean, and how they relate to each other (and the car).

Don't cheap out on tires. If you can't afford good quality wheels and tires, you don't need them - stick with stock or a smaller diameter. Fake-ballin' looks gay from a mile off.

(Honestly, I think 19's on a AC is overkill, but that's just me).
