Yes! I strongly suspect you will have issues with contact (on the suspension components) using the 20x10 +39 wheel.

Remember that the stock wheel size is 18x7.5 +35mm. Given the +39, and the addition of an additional 1.25 inches of wheel width (half the difference between 10 and 7.5), the total effective inwards "movement" of the inner edge of the wheel is about 1.41 inches - that is a lot of rim and tire to account for inside the fender, closer to the suspension!

On the other hand, the 20x8.5 +41 is a borderline fit. With some tires, there might be contact, but it also might work - you'd have to try some actual fitments (with a friendly tire place) and see how it goes (with actual tires). It might work in the back and not in the front, for example.

The fronts should fit perfectly with 245/35 tires and the rears should fit. They are really only 33mm more towards the shock which is about inch and a quarter. You should be more than fine with even a 275 rear but to be on the safe side a 265 rear tire would be fine.

Okay-y-y-y ... if you say so, but I'd love to see some pictures of this not contacting!

By the way, I count it as (10-7.5)/2 = 1.25". This is 31.75mm, plus the extra 5mm larger offset for a total of 35.75 mm ... about 1.41 inches! But that is only 2.75mm more, I suppose!

Anyway, in the past, I have tried to see what is possible on my 2003 M45, and to me, a 1.4" difference in wheel location seemed that it would touch the suspension. Particularly with the tires that you would need to put onto a 10" wheel!

If it works out, I will stand corrected!

I ran 20x8.5 +30 and 20x10.5 +40 with no rubbing at all. And, you don't need to roll the fenders either.

Okay. Good to hear more confirmation, and I will stand corrected!

BTW, The +30 in front (with 8.5" rims) is probably fine. I did notice that there is a lot of room for wheels to come "outward" towards the fender without rolling being needed.

It is the +40 in the back with 10.5" wheels that surprises me! I have looked back there and did not think that there was room near the suspension components for this wide and this large an offset for the wheels.
