You'll get plenty of people on both sides of the rice battle so the question is; Do YOU like it or not?

Personally, I think it's a bit much for a daily driver. But then again I hate fart cans and I can count the people on this board that don't have one on one hand so don't expect my opinion to be the majority. (Apex'i this! Blitz that! HKS r0x dood! ....*sigh*)Oh, and wings belong and real road course RACE CARS, nowhere else. ;)

Well I think thats just good taste. Looks like a well bilt car. But who cares what I or anyone else thinks, were not driving it.

Your car would be rice if the first thing you got was that kit and stickers before you even thought about the engine, trans, suspension, safety.

I don't have a fart can. Bone stock for me, and nothing more unless I upgrade the engine. :batman

listen guy, don get involved into this rice or nice thing. if u like what u see and u would like to see it on your car then go ahead and put it on. afterall u are investing all the money into it and i dont think anyone has a right to say anything unless they are also investing money in your car which apparently they are not. also rice doesnt have anything to do with stickers, body kits, spoilers, and rims. heres the thing. usually u would want to modify the motor before u got into the body but it is your choice of operation and some people do just mod the body for the looks and nothing else so u could do that just as long as u dont try to show off or act like your car is fast if it isnt. second of all a spoiler could look nice or ugly depending upon your setup. heres the thing to remember though, just make sure the spoiler doesnt look higher than your roof if u look at it sidewayz and u are okay. third the rims...i personally prefer gunmetal black rims over the shiny ones so i say go with it if u want. just remember, if u are going for looks then it doesnt matter what rims u have just as long as they are not hubcaps and second of all if u decide to want chrome then only put it on a showcar and not a car built for speed. now the most important thing the stickers, if i is advertsing a company or performance shop then please make sure u have something from that company in your car worth advertising...example: a GPsport body kit with a wings west sticker do not go along. or a sticker that advertises a sticker should not happen. oh yeah and it is usually better if buy more things from the same companies so that it makes u look like more of a tuner guy and so that u have fewer stickers on your car. but my pesonal preference would be a car with no stickers. oh and yea, have u thought about what color paint your car is going to be after everything is done? i could give u better suggestion that way.

The obnoxious wing and windshield stickers are ricey. No question. Unfortunately those two Uncle Ben items detract from what otherwise is a very sweet looking ride.

Dude - Read the first post. He's saying he likes the kit and the wing, but doesn't want to risk being rice. He's not trying to pass the car off as his own.

And yes, there are LOTS of stupid people with money. Ever watch MTV or professional sports?

Rice? Call it whatever the **** you want, its your money. If you like it, buy it.

Some BMW ///M enthusiasts call stock Japanese cars rice. Some 240SX enthusiasts call Civics rice. Chinese people call all their food rice. It is PURELY interpretive and subjective.

Actually, they do call it "rice". I'm full Chinese, rasied in a Chinese household, and I generally translate "eat food" as "chr fan", which is directly translated to "eat rice" in Mandarin. I know theres direct translation for "food" that is not "rice", but most Chinese people say "chr fan".

For example:"I ate [food] at 7 o'clock." = "Woh chi-dien chr fan." We casually just say "eat rice", when it is not necessarily rice, every time we eat since rice is our primary diet.

Cars are built by companies depending on two things- the car's purpose and the designer/tuners' personal taste. That GP Sports S15 is mostly a show car. It has a twin turbo SR and is a running proof of concept, built primarily to demonstrate the company's involvement in tuning. So let's just say it's mostly a show car built in drift style. Some drifters use huge wings, and many do not. I personally am a fan of a ground-hugging, clean bodykit, big wheels with camber, and a nice, smooth lack of any wing, esp. on s14s and Soarers. Depends on the bodystyle though. The s15 is oe of the cars I think looks great with a JGTC wing on the back. Whether it's rice or not, depends on your viewpoint. Some say drifting is rice. I personally disagree, although I cn see why people would lump the two together. Some say show cars are rice too. To me rice= poor taste, uber trendy, more obnoxious looking and sounding than fast or functioning, poser style, etc.. Twin turbo, fully built drift S15 with the looks to floss=rice? IMHO this is somedamn fine gourmet rice in either case.

mahaha **** you're right.

I can work around your reasoning though. I call my food food.. and my rice .. rice -_- :-D

i'm chinese. sooooooooo... technically.... not all chinese people call our food.. rice. stop making generalizations! -_-
