Check the exhaust AR and stage. Also, request a pic without the housings installed.Bearings are cheap, compressor wheels and exhaust wheels aren't.Other than that, sounds good!!

just from my experience, it's better to buy a new turbo.

But from the looks of it, sure looks like a standard match (t3/t4).

Please, for the love of anything holy, don't buy a used Ebay turbo. Just spend the $700 on a brand new one built to your spec from a reputable dealer.

And, FWIW, I run a T3/T04E .50 trim .60 A/R compressor / .76 trim (Stg 3, T31) .63 A/R turbine. Great match for the KA.

I finally figured it out... you guys are thinking of the XSPower turbos.

XSPower is NOT XS Engineering. The two companies are WAY DIFFERENT!

But yea, the t04 seems like it would be laggy... cuz these guys typically design for subaru's, which is where I heard about them from when I was looking for a place to fabricate some stuff for me & tune my turbo.

If the guy knows what he's selling, why doesn't he list the exhaust A/R, what type of waste gate it has, whether it's water cooled and who makes it.

I'd be real leery of a guy selling something that he knows little about. But he does just happen to know that it was only used 3000 miles - BS!

I still have my freshly remanufactured Garrett if you're interested. I can list it on Ebay if you are concerned with buyer protection.

My engine has 170k miles and i still get full boost by 3800rpm. Not too laggy, IMO.
