It's a 1992 240SX with an SR20DET swapped in. Apparently I'm not allowed to post URLS so here's what the ad says:

I've been looking at getting a long term project car for me to build up. I was looking at automatics and non-running cars and I was planning on swapping in a SR20 + manual trans, however this already has one.

Since it has a dropped valve, I'm assuming it'll need the whole engine rebuilt, or at least the top end. I'm still somewhat new to engines so bear that in mind.

It seems like it has a lot of good parts on it already, but would it be too much for a beginner? I have basically unlimited time with a decent budget. Is it a good deal? Most running 240s are over $2000 here, and that's for automatics or convertibles.

sounds like a good base to start off from; although dealing with others issues can be frustrating. if you have the budget for it Id say do it

Yeah sounds like if you've got the time and know how, its not a bad deal.

You'll probably want to get a bores scope and check out the pistons to see if any of them contacted the valve in question.
