It should be OK, but definitely requires a test fitting.

16" or 17" should be better for a narrower snow tire.

Why don't you fill out your profile? Helps with tire, fuel, and brake questions.

Found a set of these on e-bayWould these fit??

Size: 17" x 7 1/2" offset 30 (fronts)

17" x 8" offset 33 (rears)

Bolt Pattern: 5x4.5 or 5x114.3

I would want to put 225/50-17 on them?

No thanksSee what I'm trying to do is.My stock Q rims are pretty beat (from origanal owner)So what I want to do is the tires are less than a year old.So I want to get a nice set of 17" rims that the 225/50-17 I have will go on for summer tires and them BUY winter tires and put them on the stock wheels for winter.

For the tire sizes you want, yes.

Are there any good tires in that size?

LOLFunny..I just don't have the money right now to buy new tires when those are new.I have to spend the money on snows right now..

So if I put those tires on those rims the car will NOT sit funny because the rear rims are wider and I'm using the same size tire all around?

thanks

No, and there are some very good tires available, some with 98 load ratings.

how is that possiable if I'm stretching the same size tire a 1/2 inch more in the rear? Or is it that it's so small of an amount that you can't tell.

thanks

Profile should be so similar in combination with the high shoulder, I bet you can't tell. 3 lbs. of difference in pressure should be more detectable.

Few normal drivers can detect a 3 psi difference in normal driving.

I would have a lot more confidence in OEM Nissan than ASA.

All used wheels should be checked for tolerances before purchases. Q45tech had to reject about 50% of the ones he purchased or wanted to purchase.

I will have my OEM rims available soon - 2000 AE Edition, 17-inch, excellent condition with new Yokohama Avid 4VS on them, 225/50/17. I am getting my rims from the guy I sold my old '98Q45t to since he got 20 inch rims. My old rims were 2003 Nissan 350Z rims - I loved those. Let me know if you are interested....thanks -
