elaborate please? is it because you received 5 lug instead of 4 lug? Because they do make both. you just have more offset options w/ the 5lug wheel. As far as a 4 lug a S13 goes, they do make a 17x8 wheel with +35 offset that will fit fine. I recommend 215's for the front because of rubbing on the fenderwells, but other than that. ..they're great. Plus they'll clear z brakes if you have them now or plan to get them in the future.

No, it's because on eletist forums like Ziptied, they feel they are above everybody else, and they also think a good fitting wheel like the FNO1R-C is lame because it's affordable(and hence, popular).

-Affordable-light weight for it's size-very clean design, not a fad or trend wheel like spinners or wires, or chrome-excellent sizes -excellent offsets-4-4.5 and 5-4.5-available from our sponsor SPL and others as well

The front was still resting on the lift, this explains the slightly larger wheel gap.

I have Fn01R-C's on my MR2 and was thinking about moving them over to my 240. They are 17x8+35 215/40/17 F and 17x9+43 235/40/17 R. Will these fit or should i just look at picking up another set in different offsets. And if so what offsets. And yes, my 240 is 5 lug.

Those sizes are good for F/R on the S13. The +35 front will be idealThe +43 rear will help get the big 9" into the wheelwell and match with the lines of the body

The 235/40-17 while not wildly popular is a perfect size for a big wheel on the rear of the s13. Toyo has the RA1 in this size. Win!

Only thing I would change is use a 215/45-17 front, or if you were to just run 8" +35 front and rear, use 215/45-17 all around, allowing you to rotate the tires and get twice as many usable miles from the tire. At the price range we're in, they ain't cheap!

FN01RC SUCKS.

i know, i have some. but in good size, not crap offset, 17x9 +15, for real men, not girly men. Only use them for track wheels.

Get those GL 57S or those Nismo LMGTwhatevers for slightly rarer wheels. Everyone and their mother has 5chicken.

Would these fit?

Size: 1780 Offsets: +27 +35 +43 PCD: 114.3 Holes: 5H Weight: 22 lbs From 5Zigenusa site. I think those look nice but haven't seen them being mentioned so I was wondering if they would work on a '95 240.

yeah, they would, as long as you have 5 lug.

17x8 +27 is kinda mehhhh, but it's your call. I'd have some spacers laying around if you have Z brakes though, just in case.

would a 17x8 +35 be good for a s13 front. on the fn01rc site they have it for the rear and 17x7 +35 for the front

those sizes are ridiculous.

17x8 all around minimum. and go lower offsets.

course if you're 4 lug, you're screwed.

going with lower offsets starts changin steering geometry though... I'm interested in the 215/40 17's change the gearing 4% which plus will the 215's fit in that width and sidewall with stock struts?

The picture I posted is of 4 lug 17x8 +35 and it clears the GP Sports GR-6 coilover

and sits nice & flush with fender, without stupid low offsets, without compromising amounts of negative camber, without spacers

Maybe I'm wrong with my math, but doesn't a 17x8 +27 keep a backspacing of just over 5 inches?

I'm running a 7.5" rim with a +35 and I think the total backspacing is around 5.13" if I remember correctly, and wouldn't an 8" wide +27 have a 5.06 backspacing? If so then they should be able to clear coilovers and probably z brakes too.
