Call me dumb if you feel like it, but serioulsly would it? I'm considering putting my stock springs back on and selling my pro-kit springs. Trust me, I have my reasons. Well I simply want to know if there would be any benefit to shot-peening my stock ones compared to the cost of having it done.

It would help retard metal fatigue, but I don't see what the real benefit would be relative to the cost. Probably better just to find another spring that is more suited to what you want.

What don't you like about the PK's? I run RS*R Race Springs and I'm very pleased with them.

I need to make my car more daily driveable. I'm also in need of a new pair of AGX shocks in the back as I caused them both to blow their seals (long story). I could sell my pro-kit to help make up for the cost and put my car's stock springs back on. My rear wheels are also pretty cambered out despite a .5 degree eccentric camber kit, so the reduced tire wear would also help. I would like to pursue suspension, but next time I'll just get coil-overs. The benefits I've had w/ the springs would be out-matched by some anti-sway bars too. I'm quite please with the pro-kit, I just need more practicallity.

Your car is not daily-drivable with the Pro-Kits? Gad, you must have really poor roads there in Houston. I've been daily-driving mine with 5.0/4.2kgmm springs on AGX both in New Jersey and here in Florida. Bumpy at times, but tolerable. Plus my camber isn't that bad at all - a bit out of line in the back, but nothing major.

I don't know how much you'd get for used Pro-Kit springs or if it would even come close to covering the cost of 2 new rear AGX. Maybe GR-2's instead, not much incentive to have AGX if you're going back to stock rates.

They're damn good shocks. I'd also like to not have to crawl over the monster sized speed bumps we have down here.

I have pro-kit springs, i find them to be extremly suited to daily driving, and advise against putting them on anything that would see the track or spirited driving.
