Would like to build a engine

I would like to put a Black Top SR20DET in a 240sx but the thing is I would like to build the it. I was wondering if anyone would now where I could by a book for this engine, like how to build it what parts are needed. thank you for any hel

Find a FSM(Factory Service Manual).

the best way to do that is to buy an old SR to use for parts, tear it apart and then rebuild it, boar it, new pistons/rings, new turbo, hp cam, bearings, pullys, etc. but thats gonna cost way more than just buying a used SR20

You should be able to find the information for the motor in one of the service manuals available for download on this page:

I just got the one for my s14 and it is a much better pdf than the one I was working with.
