would like input on project 240 fastback

alright, well i know there are probably a lot of threads like this, but i just didnt get all the answers i needed to know from reading other peoples questions. my apologies. anyways, alright, i used to have a 92 fastback, and i loved it, but it was my first car and it was an automatic(boo) but after that i got an mr-2 n/a(5-speed) but i want to go back to my roots and find out what my old 240 could do if done right. i really want to get into track racing, fine tuning my driving skills, maybe learn how to drift. but i really want an all around just kickaxx ride. lookin for 350-400whp. nothing outrageous, but not a ***** car either. would like a fastback with sr20det, but is that the best way to go? how much SHOULD i pay for it, and if i get the 240 without the sr, what kind of mods are the BEST route to go with first, not for power but for dependability and pre-setup for the power i would like? i know a lot of these posts are probably redundant, but i want to start planning the project from now if i have to do the swap, and maybe start purchasing the parts BEFORE i buy the car if i ultimately decided to get one with a ka. thanks guys, sorry again for the redundancy.
