basically can it be installed in working order. allowing you to use it and control it. as far as i know these are almost universal. if not is there a controller you can purchase. i understand that there is the nico ecu. but i m aiming more for the bling perspective. i probably wont use it much if it is possible. im out on the whole gauges thing. i dont want no 5inch tach crap in the car. nice digital readouts are fine. before you all say anything, my car is up to date on all the usual. might be a good time to replace the maf though. shes getting to my nuts. im pretty good with mechs. and tech. but i d rather ask a group of people, then the trail and error way. thanks fellas.

The way I see it, I only do modifications to my car that can be easily removed or will bring value to the car.

But you can go the easy way: get a laptop and Consult cable.

Or the more money and possibly more labor intesive route:

Price for that is $220+

But as for that Apexi SAFC module, I have no info on it.

But don't add "Bling" to your car add something thats worth it and will bring value.

But definatly go with a NICO ECU, You can always leave the kickpanel removed to shocase the best ECU for the Q45 as far as I know.

No need, but you already know that.

Put it in and hook up the lights if you absolutely must, but for God's sake don't hook it up to the ECU wiring.

gonna go with the nico ecu for sure. the reason i was inquiring was the whole fact of the just having the darn thing. the nico ecu is my christmas preasent to me. as far as the value of my vehicle. if i do sell it. which i m very sure i wont. (it took me 5yrs to get this ride.) the unit will go with it. are these injectors peak n hold. or saturated?

Saturated injectors @ 12-13 ohms with ~ 0.7msec latency depending on measurement ambient temperature.

Tricking ecu eith MAF voltage diddles doesn't change the ignition advance which is a significant complementary requirement to gain the 8% peak power increase.................only expect 4% gain at best by leaning AF.
