Just like the topic states: would it be an issue to drive the Z without the window trim for a couple of days? I took mine off and am waiting for the delivery of the new clips. I'm not sure if the trim does anything to hold the windshield in place or not. I'm dying to drive it. Thoughts?

I'd keep it out of the rain but it has no structural purpose. Your window will not fly off because you removed the trim lol.

+1. I need to repaint my trim... It was fine when I got it, but over the past 6 months to a year it's just been peeling and turning chrome, which I've always hated!

I just got mine too. Pretty sure you can buy it from the Z1 website or Courtsey Nissan Website, but I found some decent trim on a junkyard Z. It's expensive if you buy it new!
