Would I30T BBS wheels fit the J30? What is the stock J30 wheel offset?

What is the wheel offset for the stock 15 x 6.5" J30 wheels? I've read anywhere from +35 to +40 but want to make sure I got a good deal on the '96-'97 I30T BBS wheels and they have are 15 x 6.5" with a +45mm offset.

Will these fit ok in the J30 or do I run a risk of the wheels rubbing on the suspension since it may be more tucked in (with the extra 5mm of offset)?

Thanks!

I have a set of T wheels I will sell to you for say $50 plus actual shipping, if you just want a mesh style with a rwd offset.

Well, I bought the 15" BBS I30T wheels and will try them on next week. If they don't fit, I can return them.

NY94J30, I'm definately interested in your wheels if they don't work out.

I've read a quote here stating that any Infiniti wheel should fit any other Infiniti irregardless of year or model. While I agree that the bolt pattern is still the same that statement seems way too vague for me considering that the new G35 wheels are staggered and are wider than our J30 of 10 years ago. Dunno...

An actual offset measurement of the stock J30 wheels would be beneficial as what I read indicates it's ET="H," which can be anywhere from +35, +40, or +45mm.

Assuming that the wheel widths between the stock J30 and I30T are the same (from what I know they're 15 x 6.5"), a potential deviation of +10mm offset shouldn't be THAT big of a deal, right? The stock front strut and brake clearance is bigger than that I would hope...

Any thoughts?

Here's a pic of the wheels...

In case anybody is interested NissanNews states that the stock wheel specs are 6.5JJ x 15 with a +40mm offset. Don't think the +5mm offset of the I30t BBS wheels should be an issue anymore...

-- Mine aren't the sport pkg wheels, but they are 17s off an 04 G35, they bolted right up, no spacer or rub.
