I think not...

I remember reading about the new robots at some car factory designed to paint cars. The engineers described, in rather funny terms, their propensity to paint each other and collide. I think they eventually got it right, but I'd still love to see a film of that.

I'd never subject my G to the impersonal attack of a robot with a probe.

I had my share in some stupid stuff over 8 years of programing those beast.

Once I knock myself out with my own robot. It is funny now but that time it wasn't.

Here is the full story. 1 of the welding robot(we had 6) was screwed up and they had to rewire the teaching box. It is a little portable device (attached on the long cable)you can teach the robot with. The electrician rewired it but He did not do it right and screwed up 2 of the moves. Make it simple the rapid when it goes really quick to the home position 1 or the 2(wired them bacwards). So after the rewiring I was setting up the robot standing like 3 feet away from the arm. i hit the home one and instead of going to home 1 it went to home 2. Unfortunetelly I was in the way of home 2. So the damn arm punch me in the face broke my nose.

Oups. And there it goes Zozo seconds later with a bloody nose looking for the electrician so I can punch him out too. Lucky bustard went home minutes before.

I think it is funny how I tell the story or my wife tells the story. Yes the frickn robot knock me out.

Well, your robot got another victim, my screen. I had to clean the coffee off of it after reading that while taking a sip. Thanks.

I'm reminded of this commercial when I read this article...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkgQFOOr7ug

No matter how much we try to trust technology, it's bound to have its glitches... I wouldn't trust this at all. Besides, I'm totally urked with society's lazy attitude! Why can't you just get out of your car and pump your gas? If you can't be trusted enough to handle that menial task, then why should you be entrusted to control a 2 ton car moving 70mph down the highway?!?!

Now that I'm on a rant, I have to mention... What is up with the lazy a$$ people at the grocery store who can't take their cart back to the cart corral???? Why do you have to just leave your cart in the middle of the drive only to drift in the wind and scratch my car?!?!?! It totally makes my blood boil when I see someone do this, when the cart corral is only 3 spaces down from them... I want to say to them, "maybe you should walk the extra 20 feet to put your cart away so that the extra large bag of chips and twinkies don't make your fat a$$ any fatter!"

I feel better now... Thanks!

Off topic, i work at a grocery store and i cant stand when people dont put carrages in the corral. On a daily basis i see cars being hit by stray carrages, its pretty sad.

Nice, never heard don't drink and type/read?

I think robots are great but people behind it...hm..well. no so great. Most of the mistakes coming from man mistakes not the robot. Of course there is some occasionally.

zozo

BTW, I like that 7up commercial.
