would an automatic ka24e transmision bolt onto a sr20det s13 red top???

hey guys, im new to this site and im a learning mechanic. I want to get rid of this little 140 hp ka24e and put in a sr20det s13 red top in it but i dont want to change the driveshaft for a different transmission. I want to know if there is a conversion kit to bolt a ka24e transmission to a sr20det. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks..

the transmission from a 5spd sohc wont bolt on to the sr20det. the bell housings are different. some people have used the 5spd transmission mated with a sr20det bell housing though.

most people/vendor that sells sr20det comes with the transmission.

you're going to put an auto transmission on an sr20>? just do the complete conversion dude, you'll be way happier with the output. !

Someone please correct me if I am wrong... if you have ABS on the car your driveshaft should be the correct length to mount directly up to the SR transmission. My s13 did not and I was short nearly 3 inches. I had a custom 1 piece built. u-joints on the oem 2 piece were shot anyways.
