Well then, if you know how to tune for NOS, shouldn't that answer your own question about the test pipe?

The answer is, it wouldn't really matter other than a couple more HP and pollution up the wazoo and not passing smog.

well well i can see why people talk so bad about these forums.....i post a question...and get 2 smart *** answers....that's cool...tuning the nos has nothing to do with the dang test pipe....i was wanting someone to answer that A)can say something intelligent about the question or B) has some experience on a 240sx with nitrous with a test-pipe...obviously neither of you two who replied fit either scenario so i'll post on the more helpful 240sxforums...and i'll be sure to mention this on the other 3 240sxforums i belong to, plus numerous other forums. Thank you guys. you're so awesome.

haha....you are all crazy. j/k

Hey I know some ppl in this forum are ********, but if you don't get the right answer right away don't freak out. If you have any questions about nitrous, ask it in the KA-T or forced induction, even though its not either. You get more help there from ppl who realize you can choose other means of adding power other than swapping motors.

Now to answer your question. I dont have a cat on my car since the hotshot header took its place but if I did it would be gone. When you spray you obviously are gonna have more exhaust gas to expell. The cat will only restrict this. In all honesty though, I would get a header before you worry about the test pipe issue. If your starting out with a small shot, then just work with the header. When you start running 100 shot or more then I would run the test pipe. You could get rid of it with a smaller shot but it wouldn't hurt but I can't see it as a neccesity.

I don't own a supra, although I do post on Supraforums, and no they didn't kick me off.

And my Z doesn't do 17 second 1/4 miles nor do I drift it.
