Would a JDM drivers seat work in a USDM Q45

Hey I had an idea, I was think I have up and down controls and memory on my seat why shouldn't the passenger. So I though what if I were to find a JDM drivers seat and the controls of course.

I know the tough part is getting the seat though.

Would the harness be the same?

Would the memory function work?

Would the Automatic Drive Positioner work for the USDM passengers seat?

Would it cause any problems with the drivers seat?

Would anything have to be spiced in?

And if you meant for my 1994 Q45+ conversion, then no I didn't know that the 1994+ had that feature i just wanted to the passenger to feel as good as I do.

I've interested in doing this conversion too, except obviously I need a USDM drivers seat controls.I know... you send me your USDM drivers seat controls etc and I'll tell you if it works!!:P

And I would sit on a stool?

Wonder if its possible to source a seat I mean I can send you the controls, But for the seat you we would probably pay out the *** for it.

Depends, would a seat be needed? I mean, what IS the difference between a memory seat and a standard seat? Apart from the control unit etc, which may very well be removable/interchangable on the seat?

No memory. No steering wheel and mirror locations are irrelevant, then there are the two doors in the rear, so why bother?

1999+ had 8 way passenger seat, earlier only 6 way (not counting power head rests here).

I mean that there are two positions of the steering wheel and seat you can save in to the memory on the 1990-1993 Q45. and this car has a different setup (there is no BCM)

On the 1994+ USDM Q45 you can save the seat position, side mirror and steering wheel position into memory, but this car has a BCM AKA Body Control Module where it saves it to.

I think adding this feature would raise the value of the car while making it more passenger friendly.

I wanna do it for the sheer hell of it!I'll never use it personally but it'll be better than having to make excuses to my girlfriend as to why the seat has been moved.... after some fun times with another girl!(Hey, everyone knows, Q's get the girls...)lolHonestly, I'd do it just for the hell of it.

The back seat small, But theirs always a sun roof.

Remember on the President the Japanese suicide seat would go forward and fold flat or the center section of the seat back would drop back so the passenger could extend his legs over cushioned comfort.
