would a bad iacv cause white smoke?

After I idle for a long period of time and I start to drive off I leave white smoke everywhere. But after driving for a while then just stopping and going again I only leave very little white smoke, almost un-noticable. Then some times when I push in the clutch it stalls or it will idle really weird then stall or just idle really weird.

No, but a internally blown HG would cause it. As far as your idle problems, they could be caused by a bad IACV but, the white smoke, definitely not.
