would a 91 transmission fit a a s14?

i was told that a 91 transmission would work for a s14 (1995) 240sx because its has the same engine but when i took it to get replace the guy said its two different transmission and that if i put it in ..it'll lose power and the engine light would pop up..please help thanks

umm i think the guy is b.s you. I have a 95 motor with that years trans and it drives and shifts fine.

yeh that transmission works as long as is a ka24de

You may get a check engine light because the 95 transmission has a crank angle sensor, and there is no sensor on the 91 transmission. The crank angle sensor is not necessary though, so your car will run fine stuff.

thats probably what he meant by different just missing the hole for the crank sensor. you can swap the bellhousing and should be fine if you need the crank sensor

Works but you need to drill the bellhousing to fir the crank angle sensors. Try the flashing search function.

my friend had a s14(not sure what year) ka24de in his 90 hatch and he used his single cam trans for it
